Small sized Roman Catholic Secondary School in Manchester require a Science teacher for January after a recent unexpected departure.

This is a full time Science teaching position across KS3-KS4 for 2 terms to the end of the academic year. You will be teaching across the Science syllabus so previous experience of this will be essential. Graded “Good” overall in their last Ofsted report the school has high expectations for all students and is committed to finding and developing the talents they possess whilst supporting their academic progress and achievements.

The school has a large percentage of pupils eligible for free school meals with 52%. You will be aiming to increase academic performance for a Science department that achieves in line with national averages and performs highly within the schools departments. Situated in the M21 post code of Manchester the school has tram and bus routes directly outside.
