Science teacher required for Secondary in Sutton - October start.

Science teacher needed for Sutton Secondary School due to an upcoming maternity cover. This modern build school has excellent facilities and teaching aids that can be utilised for teaching Science. Commencing at September the maternity will be until Easter 2018 in the first instance.

You will be part of a supportive Science department and working under an experienced Head of Science. This is an excellent opportunity for a Science NQT or experienced Scientist currently looking to work in a multi cultural and diverse secondary school.

Large in size with just under 1000 pupils on roll, this Good graded Ofsted School has high levels of pupils who use English as an additional language at 49%. Due to the vision of the head teacher, the governing body and the hard work of all staff, this college has improved quickly since the last inspection.

Academically the Science department has improved for the past 3 years and is above average for the Sutton borough.
