A highly regarded Secondary school in Exeter are seeking an intake of graduates for teaching assistant roles!

Ideally the school would like to meet a Sport Science graduate, or those of you who are passionate about PE/Sport - however all are considered for different roles!

This role is open to aspiring primary teachers, especially those with a keen interest in providing additional support with PE/Sports clubs. Sound like you?

Person Specification

To be considered you will need to be an intelligent, energetic graduate who has earned a second class degree or better and a good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a similar role. The ideal candidate will have an encouraging work ethic that will help their students understand the importance or diligence and aiming high. The right applicant will have a high-energy manner born from their enthusiasm for teaching and an unflinching ambition to teach. The ideal individual should be able to quickly and effectively build a network of important relationships that will enhance their time at the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
