We have been asked to find confident and reliable Teaching Assistants to work within the Caldicot & Monmouthshire area, within Secondary Schools.
You will be supporting pupils to access all aspects of the curriculum and within the community. The Teaching Assistant will need to hold high expectations of behaviour and learning but, who won’t be unnerved by highly volatile behaviour issues. Team Teach trained would be desirable along with a flexible approach to learning objectives. You will have to take direction from the class Teacher; follow specific behaviour plans and individual learning programmes.
The successful Teaching Assistant undertake work in a very busy school and due to the size of the school, we ask that you attend a trial day in the first instance. We have found this has worked really well for both the school and candidate in finding the perfect fit.
