Job Title: General Cover Teacher

Location:

East of England, Cambridgeshire, Wisbech

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£130 - £180 Per day

Job Duties:

The General Cover Teacher will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons to students across various subjects in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Duties include maintaining a positive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring all students engage with the learning material.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Enhanced DBS check

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience:

Prior experience in teaching or working with students preferred

Experience with short blocks of teaching

Knowledge and Skills:

- Excellent classroom management skills

- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles

- Strong understanding of the UK curriculum

Working Conditions:

The General Cover Teacher will work in a school environment following the school timetable. The role may involve working with students of different age groups and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
