Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for General Cover Supervisors to support schools across Stoke-on-Trent. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching and wanting to gain further experience within a mainstream school.

The role of a Cover Supervisor:

  • Covering and managing the class in the absence of the class teacher
  • Ensuring all pre-set work is completed to a high standard
  • Managing behaviour, following the school’s behaviour policies
  • Covering a range of subjects and year groups
  • Working flexibly (part-time and full-time opportunities)

What we’re looking for:

  • A confident, calm and adaptable individual
  • Experience working with young people is desirable
  • A passion for working with young people and wanting to make a difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
