Cover Supervisor’s Needed!

  • Part-time OR full-time positions available.
  • Flexible work patterns.
  • Teaching qualification desired, but not essential. Experience in the classroom and a degree is essential.
  • Competitive rates of pay.

We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to a busy and vibrant school in Hayle to oversee classes of students aged 11-16 for which work has been set during the absence of the class teacher. The role will involve ensuring that the class is well managed, and students work productively - also providing in class support when no cover is required. Other duties may include small group intervention. This role is an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to gain further experience in a school environment as part of their career development and will offer invaluable experience to anyone wishing to pursue a career in teaching.

The school is busy and welcoming and gives you the opportunity to work in lots of areas of the school. Including different subjects, class interventions and large group work. No planning, preparation or marking required, and needed in school between 8:30 – 3:15.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
