GCSE Tutor – Derby (DE21) | Eden Setting

Are you passionate about helping students achieve their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated GCSE Tutor to support learners in a supportive setting in Derby (DE21).


Location: Derby, DE21
Schedule: Monday to Friday – School Hours
Contract: Part-time / Ongoing
Setting: SEN Support


✨ About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students on a 1:1 or small group basis, supporting them with their GCSE studies. You’ll play a key role in building confidence, improving engagement, and helping learners overcome barriers to education.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver GCSE-level sessions (English, Maths, or Science)
  • Plan and tailor lessons to meet individual needs
  • Support students with SEN or additional learning needs
  • Track and report on student progress
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment

✅ Requirements

  • Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE subjects
  • Strong subject knowledge (English, Maths, or Science)
  • Experience working with SEN learners (desirable)
  • Patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
