Job Title: GCSE SEN Tutor

Job Duties:

  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN) studying for GCSE exams
  • Create individualised learning plans and materials to cater to the specific needs of each student
  • Assist students in understanding and completing coursework, assignments, and exam preparation
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning outcomes
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to address students' educational needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Organisational skills to track student progress and adjust plans accordingly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
