Job Advertisement: KS2 Teaching Assistant (1:1 & General Support) – Gateshead
Location: Gateshead
Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Year Group: KS2
Days: Monday - Friday
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil 1:1 in the mornings and provide general classroom support in the afternoons at a welcoming primary school in Gateshead.
The Role:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil in the mornings
- Assist the class teacher with general classroom duties in the afternoons
- Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Support the child’s academic and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate Will:
✔ Have experience working with primary-aged children
✔ Be confident in providing 1:1 support, particularly in KS2
✔ Show patience, empathy, and strong behavior management skills
✔ Be a team player and adaptable to different classroom settings
