Future Teachers Programme - Teaching Personnel
What is Future Teachers?
This is a programme designed to help aspiring Teachers to gain the experience before completing a secondary PGCE.
A secondary school in Preston are currently recruiting for Maths & English Graduates to join them from September 2019. You will earn up to £300 a week whilst gaining the vital experience to apply for your PGCE the following year. Pay is weekly through Teaching Personnel for a full academic year.
The successful Graduates will spend time within their specialist departments leading intervention workshops for targeted students, assisting the department with schemes of work and even delivering some lessons.
This is a successful programme which has already been running for a full academic year and all Graduates went on to pursue a secondary PGCE. The secondary school in Lancaster have a partner school which is a teaching school and is affiliated with a University for you to complete your PGCE, if you wish. There is no requirement that you must undertake a PGCE or apply to their partner school.

Future Teachers allows Graduates to gain first hand experience within a school to ascertain whether teaching is the career for them or not. You will be supported by Curriculum Leaders and Teaching Personnel during the course of this programme and there will be several opportunities throughout the year to complete CPD (continued professional development) courses to enhance your performance and knowledge of working in a school.
This secondary school in Lancaster have a requirement for English & Maths Graduates only, at this time. This is a full-time post for a full academic year which is due to commence from Monday 2nd September 2019.
