Key Stage 1 Teacher - High Wycombe
School and Role Details:
A Primary School based in are looking for a Primary Teacher (KS1) to cover PPA. The school caters for students aged 5-11.
School and Role Details:
The school allows teachers to offer creative and explorative elements to their lessons and teaching practices. You will be welcomed to a warm and friendly, purposeful school, where everybody matters and everybody cares. The school strives to make sure that every individual feels happy, secure and valued. Most importantly children are at the heart of all they do and the school prides itself on the level of academic preparation of its pupils for their senior schools. Children are entitled to high quality learning that is meaningful and memorable: playful, collaborative and lively.
The school aim is to be a place of excellence and help their learners to achieve their best, socially, personally and academically
The ideal candidate will have the appropriate teaching qualifications and also experience/desire to teach KS1 with particular experience with all years. The role will vary day to day and the school are looking for someone who can make a real difference in the children's lives, someone who is robust while also of a caring nature.
Requirements:
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Relevant KS1 teaching experience
- High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
- The ability to work effectively in a team of teachers, support staff and outside agencies
- Experience within SEN would be beneficial but not essential
