Teaching Personnel work alongside a number of Schools across the Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan and Newport that are looking to give future Teachers the classroom experience they need to ensure they start their Teaching career with the skills and tools to succeed. Future Teachers will be used within the classroom to provide support to primary aged pupils with work that is already pre-set by the class Teacher.

Some of the highlights of being a future teacher are:

*Introduction to a number of primary schools

*Gain classroom management and behaviour management skills

*No lesson planning or assessment will be required as work is pre-set by the school

*Invaluable experience prior to beginning your teacher training

*Monitoring by key stage leaders to ensure progress is maintained - Feedback given regularly

*Regular day to day and pre-booked cover to suit your working needs

*Long term placements as a teaching Assistant with classroom cover available

The role of a future teacher will include, delivering pre-planned work schemes in cross-curricular, behaviour and classroom management ensuring the schools behaviour policy is adhered to and ensuring students are focused and stay engaged with work set as well as working as a teaching assistant.
