GRADUATE ROLE - SALARIED ROUTE INTO TEACHING - QUALIFIED TEACHER STATUS AT THE END OF THE PROGRAMME 

Are you a Graduate considering teaching, but unsure where to start? Then let us help you! 

Our Future Teachers Programme supports you every step of the way to become a Secondary Teacher, salaried throughout! You will spend up to a year (depending on previous experience) working as a Cover Supervisor with the support of an assigned mentor. You will gradually build on your role and responsibilities over the year. The school will then support you to apply for SCITT training, which is salaried teacher training, and you will return to the same school as a trainee teacher. When you have successfully completed this course, you will be a fully qualified teacher in your chosen subject! 

The programme begins on a PAYE contract for the first 15 weeks (with weekly pay), before transferring you onto the school's contract. Pay will increase with experience over the programme, starting from £80 per day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
