Job Title: English and Maths Functional Skills Tutor

£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Deliver English and Maths functional skills sessions to learners in the Romford area.
- Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies to support learners' progress.
- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to learners to enhance their understanding and skills.
- Assess learners' abilities and create tailored learning plans to address their individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the outreach programme.
Required Qualifications:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
- Have a strong background in delivering English and Maths functional skills training.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners to achieve their full potential.
Education:
Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in English and Maths.
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in delivering functional skills training.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of the English and Maths functional skills curriculum.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
- Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in learners homes
- May require travel within the Romford area.
- Flexible working hours may be necessary to accommodate learners' schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
