Seeking an educator with a specialism and passion for Mathematics, to start a rewarding, challenging teaching role in the new year (Jan 2021).
Proud to be working in partnership with a thriving Secondary SEN school, based in North Cambridge, we are looking to appoint an experienced Maths Teacher for both Lower Ability and GCSE students with SEND. This could be an exciting new challenge for a Mainstream Maths Teacher or a role with opportunity of professional development for an experienced teacher of SEND.
The School:
- Specialise in supporting students with ASC, Complex Behavioural Needs and SEMH.
- Not your average class sizes, with up to 10 students per class as well as additional staffing (2xLSA’s minimum).
- Very supportive and are able to offer excellent training on SEN (Autism, Behaviour, SEMH) and career progression opportunities.
- An extremely modern school, with spacious classrooms and large outdoor areas.
Essential:
- Previous experience of teaching Maths to GCSE and/or A-Level
- Must have a PGCE/QTS/QTLS
- You will need to drive, due to limited public transport links in the area.
Vetting Process:
Before starting work, you must undergo a stringent registration and vetting process with Teaching Personnel. We will need you to apply for or provide us with the following:

- Enhanced DBS, to then be put onto the update service
- Referee contact details of previous employers
- Qualification Documents
- Full Six Year Career History
