Job Role: Fully Qualified/ ECT Primary Teacher
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Wakefield, WF2
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £130 - £200 Per day
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school children
- Assess and record pupils' progress and development
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages active participation
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupil learning and development
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience: Previous experience in teaching primary school pupils preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of child development
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) children
- Must have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
Working Conditions:
The role of a Primary Teacher may involve working regular school hours and participating in extracurricular activities. It requires patience, resilience, and a passion for educating young minds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
