Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher looking for an exciting opportunity this summer? We are seeking a passionate Year 3 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive school community in Blackburn for the Summer Term.

Position Details:

  • Role: Full-Time Year 3 Teacher

  • Location: Blackburn

  • Start Date: April (Summer Term)

  • Contract: Fixed-term (Summer Term)

  • Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
You will take full responsibility for a vibrant Year 3 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love of learning. You will be supported by a collaborative staff team and have access to excellent teaching resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 3)

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

  • Be committed to raising standards and supporting all learners

  • Bring energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
