Year 2 Class Teacher – September Start
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive school in Blackburn from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin their teaching career within a nurturing and well-supported environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning within Year 2, ensuring all pupils are challenged, supported and inspired to achieve their full potential.

The Successful Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS before September 2026.
- Have a passion for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.
- Demonstrate high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
- Be committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.
- Work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to the wider school community.
- Have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
