Role: Full-Time SEN TA

Location: Thornbury

Salary: £57-65 per day

Teaching Personnel is seeking an engaging, enthusiastic and reliable learning support assistant to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This really lovely primary school in the Thornbury area is easily accessible by both a car and on public transport. This school requires an experienced SEN TA to support a student on a 1:1 basis. This student has ASC and is a really lovely child that just requires some additional support. You will be supporting this child in class predominantly but there may be some times where you will be working on specific activities in a 1:1 capacity outside of the class. This child is well behaved but in class needs some academic support as well as being pushed to participate in group activities.

This role is available on a part-time or long-term basis.

The ideal candidate:

  • Sensitive to the needs of children
  • Resilient and engaging
  • Basic knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Be able to communicate effectively
  • Experience working with SEN and challenging children
  • Passion for supporting young people and helping them to achieve high
