A large 3- form entry school in Thamesmead is recruiting for KS2 Teachers to start in September 2019. The school is highly regarded by both staff and students and are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals who will aid the development of its pupils
The school has clear values that the senior leadership team encourage staff to embody at all times. You will work closely with the members of SLT to deliver a curriculum that encourages all students to develop a thirst for knowledge and a love of learning. You will be encouraged to create an environment in your classroom where all students can reach their full potential by providing an environment where they are happy, safe and listened to.
The school has a strong commitment to continuous professional development and works closely with other local schools to share best practice. You will also have access to the full Teaching Personnel CPD Academy and the support of your specialist Primary consultant.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- UK QTS / PGCE
- Experience within Key Stage 2 of at least 1 year
- Sound knowledge of the UK KS2 curriculum
- A good sense of humour! The school have a close community so personality is an important aspect
