Teacher of Drama needed for thriving & "Good" Preston secondary school!
"We seek a dynamic, well-qualified and motivated Teacher of Drama to join our highly successful Expressive Arts Department, with its tradition of excellent results, teaching across the age range to GCSE. There are opportunities to contribute to the wider faculty, and to teach up to KS5. So, if you are a talented practitioner with a passion for your subject, then we would love to hear from you."
The secondary school is located in the South of Preston, and is heavily over-subscribed. The School is a rewarding place to work with delightful students and staff and an ethos where everyone is happy and valued and no child is left behind. Ofsted has consistently found Behaviour and Leadership & Management at the School to be "outstanding".
The department is well resourced and collaborative, with a proven track record of results.
You will be joining the Department on the 28th October, to cover a maternity leave. There will be yourself, and the Head of Drama, teaching on a full time basis. You will be expected to teach KS3 English too, therefore you must have some experience working in the English Department..
To be considered, please apply below with an up to date CV - first interviews will be held with Emily in the Teaching Personnel Preston office from the 11th September.
