Welsh-Speaking Cover Supervisor – Secondary School – Cardiff – Full-Time
Job Type: Full-Time (term-time)

Salary: £110–£120 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Fluent Welsh-Speaking Cover Supervisor to work full-time at a secondary school in Cardiff starting September 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in teaching, youth work, or education support. Candidates from a sports background are particularly encouraged to apply, though this is not essential.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the classroom teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour and support student engagement
- Work closely with teaching staff and SLT to ensure continuity of learning
- Support learners aged 11–16 across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Requirements:
- Fluent Welsh speaker
- Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils (e.g., in education, coaching, youth work)
- Strong classroom presence and excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and confident managing whole-class settings
- A sports coaching background is desirable, but not required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
