French Teacher - South Sheffield - Part-time - September 2019

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an experienced French Teacher to join a "Good" school in Sheffield. The school is a medium sized academy based in the south of the city. This part-time French Teacher position is available for a long-term supply contract from September 2019 start and will be until at least December 2019. As the School grows with each academic year, there is the opportunity for increased teaching hours if desirable. Alternatively, if the right candidate can offer another language, the teaching allocation could also be increased.

• 3-4 days a week

• To promote the delivery of outstanding Languages teaching to KS3 & KS4

• Up to £150 per day dependent upon experience

• Easy to access using public transport from surrounding areas

In order to be considered for this role, the successful French Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

• A PGCE qualification or equivalent, specialising in French

• Have recent classroom experience in the UK (minimum one term)

• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply

• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid child workforce DBS check on the update service (if you do not hold a current DBS on the update service, Teaching Personnel will assist with the application of this)
