French Teacher required in Blackpool secondary school

I am currently working on behalf of a mainstream school in Blackpool who are seeking a Teacher of French from the end of April until the end of the academic year on a full-time basis. There is also a potential opportunity for the incoming MFL Teacher to secure a permanent contract in the new academic year, should the initial placement be successful.

The role involves teaching KS3/4 French up to GCSE level and the planning and delivery of high quality French lessons. The school is currently graded 'Requires Improvement' by Ofsted however they expected to be 'Good' following their next Ofsted visit. Behaviour of some of the students is challenging, therefore an MFL Teacher with good behaviour management skills is required. Staff and the Senior Leadership team in school are extremely supportive within the school.

The school are interested in both NQT's and experienced Teachers who have recent experience of teaching KS3/4 French and have the commitment to a full-time French teaching post.

To apply for this role, you MUST have:

- PGCE in MFL with experience of teaching French up to GCSE level

- MFL BA (Hons), ideally in French

- Good behaviour management skills

- Commitment to a full-time, long term teaching post

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
