French and Spanish Teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a French and Spanish Teacher to cover a long term sickness, starting at October half term or earlier if possible. This is a part time position working three days a week, the school are able to be reasonably flexible on which days they have a requirement.

The school have had this unexpected vacancy arise due to a permanent member of staff being taken unwell and not being able to attend school as usual. There is no fixed time for when the member of staff will return however you are likely to be required until at least February half term, however potentially longer.

The school are looking for a teacher who is able to fit in seamlessly to the current faculty, picking up the full work load of the missing teacher, including planning and marking the students work, creating the resources required for the classes you take and contributing to the overall department. You will be expected to take a tutor group and provide lessens and guidance within PSHE for your tutor group as well as pastoral support.

The school, based in Andover has a brilliant local reputation, they are currently Good rated by Ofsted and are a local education school we work with extremely closely. The school have a clear vision to improve the school from its current standing to Outstanding and to continue to push the students and staff to improve. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
