A Leeds primary school we work closely with at Teaching Personnel are looking for an Early Years Specialist Teacher to start as soon as possible to cover a long-term sickness absence. The upcoming position will be starting off on a short term basis and for the right candidate will lead into next year and possible until July 2020. Candidates applying for this role must have a 6 year career history and recent experience with Early Years within the Foundation stage.
Both schools are located within the LS6 area of Leeds, just a 10 minute drive from the city centre and surrounded with public transport. This school is looking for an enthusiastic Foundation stage specialist Teacher who has a range of experience within the Foundation stage and can support and assist infants and children of all abilities as well as experience with children with SEN. In order for the candidate to be considered for this role it is important that experience can be evidenced and references can be obtained. These should be available on an up-to-date CV.

- Candidates must be available school hours and flexible with day to day and long-term work
- Candidates must have a positive attitude and have experience working with foundation and early years within a infant or primary school environment
- Candidates need to be confident when working with early years children of different levels and abilities. This included planning and preparing for differentiation
- Candidates need to be open to trial days and providing group and individual support for early years pupils in order to increase pupil attainment and engagement
- Candidates need to show responsibility for their own learning as well as personal and professional development through experience, qualifications and trainings
- Candidates must be able to work as a team and individually
