An over-subscribed and high achieving Secondary School in the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire are seeking a Design & Technology teacher for a long term role to start in October 2016.

The school are seeking a specialist in Food Technology as you would be teaching the full KS4 Food Technology cohort. You will also teach other aspects of DT at KS3 so must be flexible to do so. Recent experience of teaching DT up to GCSE level is required. There is also the opportunity to get involved with links with feeder Primary Schools including sporadic visits and taster lessons.

You must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK and have recent teaching experience.

The school have specified the role is to start in October 2016 and will be on a long term basis until at leats Christmas but potentially for the full academic year.

The school is served by a regular bus and is reach-able from Harrogate train station.

As part of this role, as well as part of working through Teaching Personnel, you will have access to a range of CPD courses to ensure you remain up to date with the changes in the curriculum and further develop your skill set.

Pay rates are up to £160 per day (depending on experience).
