Food Technology or Art Teacher – Secondary School – Christchurch
Start: January 2026 | Full-time or Part-time | Fixed-term (1 Academic Year)

Are you a passionate Food Technology or Art Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We’re working closely with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Christchurch that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join their team from January 2026.

The school is open to either a Food Technology or Art specialist, depending on your strengths and experience. This is a fixed-term role for one academic year, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate. Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered.

About the Role:

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 students

  • Delivering engaging and creative lessons in either Food Technology or Art

  • Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential

  • Contributing to a collaborative and supportive department

What the School is Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)

  • Ideally 1+ years of teaching experience, although strong ECTs are encouraged to apply

  • A genuine passion for either Food Technology or Art education

  • A team player with strong classroom management and communication skills
