Food and Textiles Technician

Teaching Personnel is looking for a Food and Textiles Technician for an outstanding school in South Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and maintain equipment, ingredients, and materials for lessons.
• Set up and clear practical areas before and after sessions.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and in good working order.
• Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage deliveries.
• Support health, safety, and hygiene standards in all activities.
• Assist teachers with resources, displays, and demonstrations.
• Help students during practical tasks under teacher supervision.
• Keep accurate records of stock, maintenance, and safety checks.
• Maintain clean, organised learning spaces.
• Support extra-curricular activities related to food and textiles.
