Food and Textiles Technician
Job description
Teaching Personnel is looking for a Food and Textiles Technician for an outstanding school in South Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and maintain equipment, ingredients, and materials for lessons.
- Set up and clear practical areas before and after sessions.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and in good working order.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage deliveries.
- Support health, safety, and hygiene standards in all activities.
- Assist teachers with resources, displays, and demonstrations.
- Help students during practical tasks under teacher supervision.
- Keep accurate records of stock, maintenance, and safety checks.
- Maintain clean, organised learning spaces.
- Support extra-curricular activities related to food and textiles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
