Our client, a large and inclusive academy school based in Milton Keynes, is seeking to appoint a dedicated Food & Nutrition Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a well-resourced environment that values creativity, life skills, and practical learning.
About the Role:

Teaching Food & Nutrition across KS3 and KS4

Delivering practical and theoretical lessons that engage and challenge students

Supporting pupils in developing essential cooking skills, healthy lifestyles, and an understanding of nutrition

Working collaboratively with the Design & Technology faculty to deliver a cohesive curriculum
-
Contributing to assessment, planning, and enrichment activities within the department
About You:
-
A qualified teacher of Food & Nutrition (QTS or QTLS), with experience teaching at secondary level
-
Passionate about food education and committed to high-quality teaching and learning
-
Confident in delivering practical lessons in a safe and engaging way
-
A strong communicator and team player with excellent organisational skills
-
Able to maintain high expectations and support students of all abilities
