Fluent Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant – Cardiff
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: £75 – £90 per day
Location: Cardiff

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a vibrant Welsh-medium Primary School in Cardiff, known for its warm and inclusive ethos and dedication to promoting the Welsh language and culture throughout school life. The school prides itself on providing a broad, balanced curriculum and a nurturing environment where pupils can thrive academically and socially.
We are currently seeking a Fluent Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to support pupils across both the Foundation Phase and KS2. This role is ideal for someone who is confident using the Welsh language in both spoken and written forms and who is committed to helping young learners reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will:

Be fluent in Welsh (verbal and written)

Have experience working with children in a primary school setting (minimum 6 months)

Hold a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)

Be enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable
-
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
-
Be confident supporting classroom activities and pupil engagement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
