Are you a teacher looking for work in September but do not want a permanent teaching job? Do you want to teach on a supply or block booking basis and earn competitive rates whilst teaching your specialist subject?
Teaching personnel are the UK leading education staffing provider, working with a large number of schools within the Plymouth area. We are recruiting teachers to cover on a short term and long term basis in our secondary schools from September 2019.
Your role as a supply teacher will involve...
- Working in schools in Plymouth as and when is convenient for you
- Providing excellent classroom management
- Monitoring pupil progress and reporting this at the end of the day
- Taking on extra responsibilities when in a longer position, to include planning and preparation
The right candidate will need...
- Have a PGCE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- A passion for education and interest in supporting pupils
- A drivers licence and access to a vehicle
- A DBS on the update service
Earn competitive rates per week. Teaching Personnel offer WEEKLY PAY and do not use Umbrella companies to process your payment.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
