Flexible Teaching Assistant Wanted – Make a Difference Across RCT!

Location: Across Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT)
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025
Contract: Flexible – Full-time, Part-time & Day-to-Day opportunities available
Pay: Competitive, paid weekly

Are you a passionate, reliable, and adaptable individual looking to support students in a variety of educational settings?

At Teaching Personnel, we’re seeking a dynamic Teaching Assistant to work flexibly across Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools throughout RCT. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on new challenges, and wants to gain experience in different environments while making a real impact.


About the Role:

  • Support pupils across varied age groups and settings

  • Assist with learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation

  • Work with pupils with SEN, ALN, and behavioural needs

  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment

  • Take on both long-term roles and short-notice cover depending on your availability


✅ We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who is flexible and confident supporting children in both mainstream and SEN schools

  • Must be able to drive!
  • A calm, resilient personality with great communication skills

  • Someone who is happy to travel across RCT (driving licence and access to transport ideal)

  • A proactive individual who can build rapport quickly with staff and students

  • Experience is preferred, but not essential – training is available

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
