Supply Teaching Assistants – Bolton (BL4- BL8)
Location: Bolton, BL4-BL8
Daily Rate: £13.75 per hour (dependent on experience and role)
Job Type: Supply / Flexible
Are you seeking flexible work as a Teaching Assistant in the Bolton area? Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and dependable Supply TAs to support local primary schools on a short-term, day-to-day, and long-term basis.
Whether you’re an experienced education professional or keen to develop your classroom skills, supply work offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, enjoy flexibility, and make a real difference to children’s learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-class support under the guidance of the class teacher
- Assist with learning activities, small group work, and 1:1 interventions
- Help with classroom preparation, organisation, and behaviour management
- Work with pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 based on your strengths
- Contribute to a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children (school, nursery, or voluntary)
- A flexible, proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
