Flexible Supply Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting motivated and adaptable secondary teachers to work on a day-to-day or short-term basis across a range of mainstream schools. You’ll step in to cover lessons, deliver pre-planned work, and help maintain continuity in students’ learning during staff absences.
Whether you're an experienced teacher, ECT, or a retired professional returning to the classroom, this role offers flexibility, variety, and valuable teaching experience without the pressures of long-term planning or assessment.
Within the Bristol region we cover areas in North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Bristol and Bath.
To be successful, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS3 and/or KS4 students in a classroom setting
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Flexibility and reliability to adapt to different school environments
- A positive, professional attitude and a genuine interest in supporting young people’s education
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through us)
- Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
