Job description

Are you a recent graduate considering a career in teaching but seeking further experience within a school?

Teaching Personnel work with a number of schools across the West Cheshire and Stoke area who are currently requiring flexible Cover Supervisors for September. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking for a flexible role; we have both part-time and full-time positions available.

About the role:

  • Part-time and full-time roles available
  • Opportunity to earn £90 to £120 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • Immediate start as soon as the registration process is complete

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a class in the absence of the class teacher. This includes delivering pre-set work and ensuring this is completed to a high standard. You will also maintain a positive learning environment; ensuring the schools behaviour policies are always followed.

What we’re looking for:

  • A genuine passion for the development of young students
  • Ability to manage a classroom confidently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with young people (in any setting)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
