FLEXIBLE DAY-TO-DAY COVER SUPERVISORS REQUIRED- MAINSTREAM SECONDARY SCHOOL- B37- ASAP START

 

Do you have experience working within a secondary school as a cover supervisor?

Do you want the flexibility of day-to-day cover to work around your busy lifestyle?

 

We are working closely with a mainstream secondary school based within the B37 area of Birmingham who regularly require day-to-day cover supervisors to fill in, in the absence of the main class teacher.

 

Roles/Responsibilities:

- Provide continuity and consistency for the pupils in the absence of the class teacher

- Follow pre-set lesson plans and deliver lessons confidently

- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and confidently, keeping disruption to a minimum

- Follow schools policies and procedures at all times

- Communicate feedback from lessons effectively with full time members of staff within the school

 

Ideal person specification:

- Previous experience working as a cover supervisor

- Previous experience working within secondary schools in a similar role

- Confident and strong classroom presence

- Professional and positive "can do" attitude

- Passionate about education

 

Rate of Pay: £100-130 (per day, dependent upon previous experiences)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
