We are seeking a well-qualified, dedicated, enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to join a very successful PE department. This is a FULL TIME role to start in September. Pay - £120 - £190
We are looking for a Female PE Teacher that can make a real difference to the teaching of Girls’ PE. Teachers need not come with a vast amount of experience, we are seeking colleagues who are open to development and collaboration. The school have a strong and dynamic leadership team who support each other and can offer an extensive level of coaching and expertise. The sucsessful candidate will be teaching within Secondary, key stage 3 and 4.
The role involves contributing to raising standards of student attainment and to ensure outstanding progress in Girls’ PE, to monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor, to facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying PE.
The school are a mixed secondary school, catering for children between the ages of 11 and 18 years and located in Wellingborough. Since September 2013 we have been part of the Creative Education Trust. This has enabled the school to rigorously pursue rapid improvement for the children we teach. Facalities include Expansive Sports fields and Sports Hall facilities, Multi-Use Games Area marked up for netball and football, School hall with sound system and projector, Dance/Drama studio complete with sound system and mirrored wall and Interactive whiteboards in the majority of classrooms.
Qualfiications:
- Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education or have 2-5 years+ experience teaching in Secondary to PE
- Have the ability and experience of teaching in key stage 3 & 4
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour
- Have a creative approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
