Female PE Teacher

"We need an experienced or newly qualified female PE Teacher to start with us after the October half term until February 2020, to cover a sickness in the PE Department. The Teacher must be confident in managing behaviour, as well as being able to build relationships quickly, especially with sometimes difficult, year 9 girls. If the Teacher seems to get on well in school, we will happily re-book them for cover after they finish with us in February. We are looking to interview candidates in the second week in September and will be expected to teach 1 lesson." - Head of Department

An 'Outstanding' secondary school in Chorley are looking to appoint a Teacher of PE to cover a planned sickness from October 2019 until February 2020. You will be teaching KS3/4 PE full time, following the AQA specification.

The school currently offer extra-curricular clubs in netball, boys and girls football, rugby, rounders, cricket, athletics, badminton, gymnastics, hockey, handball, indoor athletics, climbing, cross country and basketball.

The facilities in the department are excellent, consisting of a full sports hall (consisting of 4 badminton courts, 1 full netball court, a volley ball court, basketball court and indoor football),a climbing wall, a fully equipped gym, 4 outdoor tennis courts, 3 outdoor netball courts and a field marked in summer for athletics and cricket, and winter for football and rugby.
