EYFS Teaching Assistant - Oldham (OL9)

Teaching Personnel is working with a larger than average sized primary school in the Oldham area (OL9) to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Teaching assistant. The role is full time and starts in September 2019. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career.

The Primary school was graded as 'outstanding' in their last inspection and is a lovely school to work in. The children are really happy and enjoy coming to school. They are friendly and are very eager to learn. The children learn from a broad and rich curriculum.

This is an inclusive school with a high level of EAL students. Children within the early year's unit make exceptional progress due to the teaching and nurture they receive. The teachers create lessons which cater to their student's individual needs and also lead nurture groups.

The successful EYFS teaching assistant must be bubbly and be willing to interact with the students in order to enhance their learning. They should have experience working with EYFS students. They must have a real passion for education and raising attainment.

  • Be enthusiastic and committed
  • Have the relevant teaching assistant qualifications
  • Have a real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
  • Have experience working with EYFS students
