EYFS Teaching Assistant - Middlesbrough

May 2019 to cover Maternity Leave

Are you seeking an opportunity to gain experience within the EYFS sector? Do you feel your skills and enthusiasm would be beneficial to this role?

Teaching Personnel are seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School located in Middlesbrough. After recently achieving a 'GOOD' grade from Ofsted, the School are keen to find an individual who can build positive relationships with the pupils.

The successful candidate, whilst working under the supervision of a qualified teacher, must be able to work independently and provide support to small groups of children in order to assist in their learning and development. The position is based within a class of 28 enthusiastic pupils who are making great progress due to the creative method of teaching. The School provides free onsite car parking and is easily accessible with metro routes and public transport less than 5 minutes walk away.

Essentials:

  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
  • Eligible to work in the UK (right to work in the UK documentation).
  • Recent experience within an EYFS classroom is desirable but not essential
