EYFS Teaching Assistant, Bamber Bridge

A vacancy has arisen for a passionate and proactive classroom support assistant with recent Early Years and SEN experience, seeking work in the Bamber Bridge area.

The role is full-time (08:30 – 15:30, Mon – Fri) and is due to commence on 2nd September 2020 until the end of the academic year. Rates of pay range from GBP10.00 to GBP10.50 per hour, dependent upon experience.  

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assistant and support a child within the class with ASD
• Deliver tailored learning activities in line with Early Years Framework and curriculum
• Engage, motivate and encourage the pupil
• Manage challenging behaviour
• Effectively observe, assess and feedback
• Attend meetings and contribute to the extra-curricular opportunities provided by the school

In order to be successful in your application for this position, you must hold at least a Level 2 certificate in a subject relevant to the advertised role and a minimum of 6 months experience of providing support in an Early Years setting. You will also require a child workforce DBS registered on the online update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
