Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant – Thornton, Lancashire

Immediate Start

Temporary post with the opportunity to work onto a school based contract

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in a supportive and welcoming primary school? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a fantastic school in Thornton (FY5) who are seeking a confident and caring practitioner to join their Early Years team.

The role:

  • Supporting children within the EYFS classroom, providing 1:1 and small group support.

  • Assisting with the delivery of play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and academic development through positive interactions.

  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher and EYFS staff to create an engaging learning environment.

  • Helping to track progress and contribute to observations and assessments.

The school is looking for:

  • A Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) with recent EYFS experience.

  • Someone with a nurturing, patient approach and the ability to build strong relationships with young learners.

  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and a passion for early childhood development.

  • Flexibility, commitment, and a proactive attitude.
