Early Years Specialist Sought for Outstanding School in City of London

  • Central location very close to the financial district in the City of London
  • One of the top 15 schools in London and top 250 in the United Kingdom

Teaching Personnel have a very popular school in Tower Hamlets interested in a full-time early years specialist for a Nursery class.The Class has no statemented children and is comprised of about 30 pupils. The successful candidate will be expected to work longer-than-usual hours: 09h00 - 17h00 but the pay will be commensurate with the extra time spent at the school.

The schools is consistently rated 'Outstanding' and ranks among the best primary schools in the United Kingdom. The school is looking for a bright and enthusiastic graduate to join the Early Years Team as soon as the right candidate is identified. The right candidate will have (all of the following are essentials):

- a thorough, clear and demonstrable understanding of the Early Years Curriculum

- an NVQ Level 3

- a university degree in any discipline (second class minimum)

The school in question is very centrally located in the heart of Central London (right around the corner from 'The Gherkin') and is consistently rated as 'Outstanding' by OFSTED. The school prides itself on its exemplary academic performance and is looking for a candidate who can continue this trend in the Early Years. The school is very partial to taking candidates on permanently and would especially like to hear from those intending to become a Fully Qualified Teacher in the next couple of years.
