EYFS Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their first steps of education? We are looking for a dedicated Early Years / EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the BS3 area of Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Reception-aged pupils in a nurturing environment where every day is different. From supporting phonics to encouraging play-based learning, you will play a key role in helping children build the foundations for their future education.
Your role will include:

Supporting the class teacher with daily routines and activities
-
Working with small groups and providing 1:1 support where needed
-
Encouraging creativity, confidence, and curiosity in young learners
-
Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation
-
Promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
We’re looking for someone who:
-
Has experience working with children (EYFS, nursery, or school setting)
-
Is patient, enthusiastic, and committed to early years education
-
Can build strong relationships with both pupils and staff
-
Holds a relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
