Early Years Specialist Teacher
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join the dynamic team at a primary school in the Seaforth (L21) area of Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of early childhood development and a commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for their youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
- Develop individualised learning plans to support the diverse needs of all children.
- Collaborate with the wider teaching team to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the school's curriculum and policies.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Early Years qualification.
- Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practices in early childhood education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
