We are looking to recruit a fully qualified EYFS Teacher for a full time maternity cover role to teach a reception class at a primary school in Peterlee.
Experience of supporting pupils with SLCN and who begin their education with lower level abilities than expected for their age is necessary for this position. Knowledge and experience of using Makaton would be favourable, however is not essential. The role will begin in September until the end of the summer term. The class is large in size and there is 2 general class support staff within the classroom. All candidates applying to jobs through Teaching Personnel must undertake or have undertaken an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS – Full assistance provided (AGY)
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Rush Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education and Hexham Newcastle Diocese with additional local school partners. These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you.
In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you a highly sought after candidate.
