Job description

Overview of role:

 

To be a proactive practitioner who supports and delivers confidently the EYFS Curriculum, effectively manages behaviour, and engages pupils whilst maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment. Must have recent school experience with in EYFS or KS1 setting and hold QTS status, Fully and Newly Qualified teachers are encouraged to apply. The role will commence on a full-time basis from September 2024 and will continue for at least one academic year with the possibility of this extending further.

 

The school in Burnley is graded as GOOD by Ofsted. The Leadership is Outstanding and the Behaviour and Teaching and Learning are GOOD. The school is accessible by both car and public transport links. The Head teacher is keen to appoint a practitioner who can work effectively with the other staff in the large unit, the team are described as being experienced, dedicated and hardworking but also friendly, bubbly and always laughing. The school is pushing for Outstanding status and so the Head teacher is keen to push standards, particularly in Maths and English

As the school is striving to ever better themselves, they accommodate within school numerous training courses and progression meetings. As this role is being sourced by Teaching Personnel, you would also be able to access our CPD opportunities free of charge. We offer numerous courses including; Team Teach, Autism Awareness, PREVENT DUTY Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 and 2, and a new course centred around the effects that COVID school closures have had on children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
