EYFS Teacher – Full Time – Huyton


Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Temporary, with the potential for a permanent role
Hours: Full Time
Location: Huyton (L36)

 

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Huyton. This full-time position is offered on a temporary basis initially, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. The school is a well-established and inclusive setting, known for its commitment to early childhood development, creativity in learning, and a strong community ethos. Staff are supported by a proactive leadership team who are passionate about creating a positive and nurturing environment for both pupils and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will plan and deliver engaging, play based learning activities that support children’s early development, while also building strong relationships with families and working closely with teaching assistants and leadership. The role requires someone who is energetic, committed to early years education, and eager to contribute to the wider school community.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching in the EYFS and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Demonstrate a nurturing and child centred approach to learning
  • Be confident in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons
  • Have strong communication and organisational skills
  • Be a team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • Be committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
